Productivity App

A Mobile Application

Context

Project Objective:

Develop a tracking app that enables users to monitor their most important tasks and projects through a fun and user-friendly interface.

My Role:

UX/UI Designer responsible for bringing this project from conception to delivery

Project Duration:

November 2023 - January 2024

MVP Objective

This app is made for anyone who needs to keep track of tasks, projects and anything in between.

With a timeline view, users can easily see everything that is coming up for them to do. They can view overdue tasks, create notes, collaborate with other users, view their calendar and schedule everything and anything.

All tasks, projects and categories are easily tracked and followed by seeing the progress wheels. The progress wheels give active progress indication and give urgency to users, encouraging them to continue on with what they need to achieve.

Small doodles and details, along with the text makes this app feel friendly and approachable.

With this app, users can feel confident as they achieve everything they put their minds to.

Retrospective

What Went Well?

1. The app holds onto a fun, creative vibe that encourages user to be fun and creative too.

2. Being that this was a creative focused app, it was fun to try my hand at creating icons, the hero image, and screen illustrations.

What Didn't Go Well?

1. Since this was my first experience designing an app, there were challenges with hierarchy, filling the app with too many features, and prioritizing too many wants.

2. Not having opinions of users that could make the app more of what they need.

How to Improve?

1. Moving forward, I plan to utilize KISS more often. I want to make sure that needed features are prioritized.

2. I need to make sure when designing to be careful to keep my wants at bay. This isn’t an app for me, it’s for my users.

3. When working on more design projects later on, I want to get feedback from users along the creation process.
